history of nike shoes

Nike was founded by Phil Knight, a middle-distance runner and accounting student at the University of Oregon, along with coach Bill Bowerman Phil. They love the sport keeps them together, and they also have a love for technology of sports shoes and apparel. In 1962 Knight successfully completed the study, and continued to travel around the world. While in Japan, Knight started to importing Japanese running shoes to the United States, simply by investing $ 500, he had 200 pairs of shoes for sale in the U.S.

Then Phil works for Onitsuka Tiger. While working for Onitsuka Tiger, he thinks that will get more benefits if he started producing his own shoes. In 1971 an employee Jeff Johnson thought to give the name Nike (after the Greek goddess of victory) for the company. Phil Knight finally getting a name for the company who is currently a major persuhaan, but he also needed a logo. Caroline Davidson, who knew Phil when he was a student at the University of Oregon. He was asked to design a logo for Nike, which is known worldwide as "The Swoosh".

In 1987 Nike released the first model of the Air Max line. Air bubbles (Air Bubbles) and enjoy a convincing many people to buy a pair of Air Max Line.

Nike was originally known simply as the running shoe company, but in 1984, Nike signed a deal with basketball player Michael Jordan, who to this day to be part of the Nike. Some models are known to this day is: Nike Air Force 1, Nike Vandal, Nike Air Max line, and Nike Air Jordans. To this day Nike continues to advance their technology.
